These terms apply to everyone who uses expatsalary.com (the "site"), including its calculators, guides and widgets. By using the site you accept them.

Estimates, not advice

The calculators and guides give estimates based on published tax rules for common situations. They are general information, not tax, legal, financial or payroll advice, and they do not take every personal circumstance into account. Your actual tax and take-home pay can differ. Check important decisions with the tax authority or a qualified adviser.

No warranty

We work hard to keep every figure accurate and up to date, as explained in our editorial policy, but the site is provided "as is", without any warranty that it is complete, accurate, current or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, ExpatSalary is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the site or its results, including decisions about jobs, salaries, relocation or tax filings.

Free widgets

You may embed our free calculator widgets on any website, including commercial ones, using the code from the widget page, as long as the credit link under the widget stays visible and unchanged. You may not alter the widget's results or present them as your own calculation. Versions without the credit link, and access to the calculations for other uses, are available under a separate agreement: see for business.

Our content

The text, calculators, design and code of the site belong to ExpatSalary. You may link to any page and quote short passages with a link back to the source. You may not copy the site, its pages or its calculators in bulk, or run automated requests that put an unreasonable load on it.

Links to other websites

We link to tax authorities and other official sources so you can check our figures. We are not responsible for the content of those websites.

Privacy

How we handle data, including analytics and advertising, is described in the privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the current version always applies.
